We are Kim and Pam, a retired couple from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, enjoying a long-awaited trip to… wherever the wind and whimsy take us! Our current plan is to head down the St. Lawrence and enjoy the beauty of Ontario, Quebec and the Atlantic provinces by boat.
Sometime in September, 2022 we expect to head into the USA, hopping along the coast at times, and other times using the intercoastal waterway. Then we will cross to the Bahamas and island hop through the Caribbean.
A little frightening… yes. But, we have done (some) of this before, aboard “Second Wind”, a 31-foot Douglas (Hullmaster) sailboat. We were much younger then and sailing on a shoestring budget that allowed us to spend 10 months away from home. This time, 40 years later, we will see where we end up!
